For some people its hard enough just to find a date. There are those who dread going out to meet someone, and then there is the “stud” who just happens to land in beautiful women. When out on a date some people forget what dating is all about. Dating after all is a numbers game, people need to date to find out if they are compatible with each other. While dating however ones focus may get blurred, the person may forget all about the characteristics or qualities they are looking for. People may loose focus suddenly, maybe because she is pretty or she makes you feel entertained. Of course you want to be with someone attractive. But if you are only happy with the exterior, what is the potential longevity of the bond, how will it be when tough times come to hit the relationship. It’s a very good and wise idea to avoid falling into a relationship where only the surface issues matter. You may have heard this before but its serious as your heart and life are n the line. That’s why its so important to stick with your fundamentals, your desired characteristics and traits. After all if you are compatible you will be more likely to be happy. If you are happy you will probably feel more attracted and excited about the relationships bond.

Also here is another misconception people tend to have and it’s not true. If you are a good looking man or woman, you are most likely someone shallow or with an attitude problem. The idea being that because of their looks they don’t need to focus on their attitude in order to attract the opposite sex. Yes I know for a fact that in some cases it is true, but it’s not wise to stereotype. You may be keeping yourself away from a interesting and attractive person.

1. A typical thing that people look for in a partner is a sense of humor. Humor can make time together more relaxed plus the humor can make for a fun and entertaining time together.
2. Eye contact can be important to learn about the other persons intentions. The eye can convey insight to the emotions the other person is conveying. Through the eyes we can also see honesty or deceit as well as understanding. The eyes are the gateway to the soul.
3. Look for a partner that is very patient. The partner should learn to accept the mistakes of the other as we all make mistakes, but to see the big picture which is the need of the relationship to be protected. This could be shown by the simplest of things, for example the willingness to see your error yet they will support you anyways and try to work through the issues with honesty.

These are the thing we look to when looking for a mate. If the person meets these qualities and more, they are more likely to be a quality candidate for a partner or even wife or husband. It is these types of life improving qualities that we are all drawn to in a relationship. Overall knowing what you want in the dating and keeping your focus on those things will help you navigate your way as you look for the special person to share your life with.
